I just love Feng Shui, there is something magical about it….. and for a long time now I had forgotten how magical it was until I stumbled on an old blog post of mine from 2009!!! Can you imagine that I ‘ve been writing a blog for 9 years now or even longer…. I was one of the first to start with ‘Blogger’ in 2002 …. what happened to all those years…. what distracted me so much from living my life in the light? Well unfortunately it was a divorce and then a new love….. both totally demolishing everything I had built here. The only one who caused that to happen was me. Everything had been going so well, I’d never seen it coming…. this financial blow to my head…. my whole life was turned upside down like you would never ever dream of…….. only in nightmares…. ! Divorce = Hell , New Love Abroad = Complicated ………… my advice………….don’t ever go there. My advice, leave complicated out of the equation….. seriously!!! Anyway……… So as I was de-cluttering my website and givng it a new look I stumbled across this post and now it just is such an eye opener for me. Thank you Universe for taking me back to where I belong. I now live in such a tiny flat and realise it’s so not me. I need to go back to Holland and live there again in my mum’s house …… a lovely little cottage near the woods. Peaceful and a bolt hole….. I can feel it in my bones….. I need to go back and hope Jon will come with me. Mum’s house I can turn into my home, my temple and bring ‘Zen’ energy back into it. Here in England it’s not really working out for me energy wise……. if you get this you understand where I’m coming from. It’s not my spirit country. Here are some lovely facts for you: Feng Shui is the art of balancing and harmonizing the flow of natural energies in our surroundings to create beneficial effects in our lives. It is like ‘Zen’, placing everything in your home with love and attention until it feels right and you can sense an energy shift! Much has been written on this wonderful subject… and there are plenty of interesting and good books… and blogs out there! The name Feng Shui originates in China and translates as ‘Wind & Water’. Wind is the earth’s breath, and water is the invigorating lifeblood of everything that exists on our planet. Both wind and water have tremendous energy that drives Feng Shui’s practices and techniques to fill your life with positive energies. Feng Shui, at its very core is a means of arranging the basic elements of life—and all the things that you surround yourself with on a daily basis— to create the optimal and harmonious flow of vital life energy, just like the flow of water and wind. It was first used in ancient China about 3 thousand years ago to determine the most auspicious sites for the tombs of ancestors in order to give them the best advantage to help their living descendants. Later it was used to site palaces, important government buildings, and monuments until whole cities were designed according to Feng Shui principles.
